I have several 250th Anniversary hats and I really love this one. It accomplishes two objectives: it shows patriotic support for our wonderful country, and it will hold up to harsh use in a truck, etc. due to its sturdy construction.
The hat is not thin and flimsy, but it is of a thicker fabric and holds it shape. This is a feature that I was impressed with, as my first 250th hat was thin and flimsy.
I still have some items from the bicentennial, and I expect this hat to last at least 25 years.
