I highly recommend it!"

The Spot You Need to See Is Always the Spot You Can't Reach
Behind the engine block. Inside the wall where that smell is coming from. Down the drain that keeps clogging. Under the seat rail where the bolt just vanished. You've got torn knuckles, a flashlight in your teeth — and you still can't see a thing.
The Viper Endoscope ends the guessing. A pencil-thin camera on a 16-foot flexible snake, wired to a bright handheld screen. Feed it in, light it up with 8 LEDs, and look at exactly what's going on in there — then only fix what actually needs fixing.

Diagnose First. Tear Down Never.
Check for the oil leak behind the block. Find the rattle inside the door panel. See whether that's a mouse nest in the duct or a clog past the trap. One look through the Viper saves hours of blind disassembly — and hundreds in "exploratory" shop labor and drywall repair. It even records photos and video to a memory card, so you've got proof for the shop, the plumber, or the landlord.

No App. No WiFi. No Twenty Minutes of Pairing.
You've seen the endoscopes that connect to your phone — and you know how that goes: the app won't link, the video lags, and now you're troubleshooting the camera instead of the truck. The Viper Endoscope has the screen built into the handle. One button, instant picture, 3.5 hours per charge. It's a tool, not a tech project.

Ready to Order, but Have Questions?
We got you covered.
No — that's the point. The 4.3" screen is built in. No WiFi, no app, no pairing. Press power and you're looking. Photos and videos save to a memory card.
The built-in 2000mAh rechargeable battery runs about 3.5 hours per charge — more than any inspection takes — and recharges over USB.
The camera head is 8mm — pencil thickness — on 16 feet of semi-rigid cable. Spark plug wells, wall cavities, sink drains, ducts: if a pencil fits, the Viper fits.
The probe and cable are IP67 — drains, sumps, and wet crawlspaces are fair game. Keep the screen unit itself dry.
- If for whatever reason, you decide you are not satisfied, you can easily and quickly contact our helpful customer support (support@dinosaurized.com) to get an easy refund. We just ask that you send the product back to our warehouse!

Cheap pocket scopes go dim and murky the moment light drops. The Hawkeye's oversized 56mm objective with fully multi-coated BAK4 optics transmits up to 99.5% of available light — so the image stays bright and crisp at dawn, dusk, and gray overcast days. Exactly when wildlife moves, and exactly when cheap glass gives up.
This endoscope is fantastic — especially at this price. I had purchased a different one several years ago that connected to my phone, and this device is leaps and bounds better than that thing.
For starters, this endoscope has an attached screen that provides great image quality. Figuring out how to use it is easy. Battery life is excellent, and the camera is very high definition and has lights whose intensity can be adjusted at the screen/control piece.
Last, the focal length on this endoscope is set in such a way that allows you to see an object from a little further away and then the object is still in focus as you get closer to it. This is NOT the case with a lot of endoscopes, where you can only see something when you are super close. It is a very valuable feature.
UPDATE ONE YEAR IN...
I thought I would use this device once or twice a year. In reality, it is nearly indispensable. I have used it to find dropped tools and fasteners while working on vehicles, to find and eliminate access for rodents and just today used this tool to inspect a plumbing drain that I thought was clogged (it was not, and the endoscope saved me at least an hour of trying to run a drain-cleaning device through a drain pipe).
As I mentioned in my first review (above), battery life is excellent. I can get several hours from this device before needing to recharge, and even after sitting for months at a time the battery has held its charge. This is in sharp contrast to the model that feeds the image through your phone. I was lucky to get 5 minutes of use at a time with that one.
What was an especially useful feature (besides being waterproof) is a camera that doesn't just focus a few inches in front of the lens. Because this allows me to see further out, I could more easily aim the camera while looking for those fasteners or tools, and I could see that the entire stretch of drain pipe was clear.
I have recommended this thing to any of my friends that work on their own homes, cars, etc. If it ever fails, I will definitely get another one.

Have not used it yet. But I did turn it on and the picture quality is surprisingly awesome, especially for the price I paid.

So far, I have used this to check the coolant thermostat housing of my SUV, which is located in a place that I can't see. I used a flashlight and still couldn't see the location or damage to where my vehicle was leaking from.
This little camera with light has made the impossible possible. All I have to do is guide the camera and watch the screen. I was able to diagnoses a tiny hairline crack to the thermostat housing where the leaking was coming from.
Ah, on a different note, I saw a mice go to my shed inside a small hole and decided to use this as well, seems that mice was probably hiding from my dogs, since I was able to see clearly what was inside that hole and was just the mice. Got that mice taken care of 🔫 and sealed the hole.
Anyways, both issues got fixed.
Btw, the only thing I did had an issue with, was the direction or the camera, meaning that you don't know if it is facing up of down. With a permanent marker, I made a tiny line on the top(not the camera) as an indication of orientation. The foldable snake looking cable of the camera is quite awkwardly to hold since it will rotate while you're holding it or guiding it to its destination. Just keep that in mind. Btw, it's rechargeable Type C port and no batteries will be needed.
